Camino is a value-added producer based out of a DEC approved mobile commercial kitchen (food truck). Vija Pelekis, owner of Camino, creates delicious and nurturing foods and other products featuring locally grown or wild harvested ingredients.
Being a supportive piece of a sustainable local economic system is a core value of Camino. Produce is sourced from farms in the Chilkat Valley which are all small scale and organic in practice. Wild plants are harvested in a respectful and sustainable manner. Non-local ingredients such as flour and sugar are selected for their quality and production practices. Locally sourced ingredients will be indicated in the discription of products for sale.
